WEYFORD-ON-SEA

SCALE: 1:76  ‘00’

SIZE: 6000 x 3000

Southern Railway /BR (S) Seaside terminus with separate Docks station, set in Dorset in the late 40’s and 50’s. Terminus to fiddle yard and Docks station.  Layout is scenically treated on 3 sides. Plans to add 4th scenic face and seafront promenade for 2011 season (please ask)

Layout travels in 2 mid sized MPV’s. Largest section 1200 x 900.

Layout needs public access to 3 or 4 sides for full appreciation.

Club Layout.

COTTLESTON PARK

SCALE: 1:148 ‘N’

SIZE:  4200 x 1000

Through station, with terminal roads and small goods facility, it was designed to show a wide range of British modern image rolling stock in action and has been shown in this form at a number of shows in the South of England. The layout is in a period of further development and may in the future be able to be shown as a backdrop for modern image continental, North American or Japanese outline stock. Please ask.

Club Layout

VIERBRUCKEN

SCALE: 1:160 ‘ N’  DCC

SIZE:  2400 x 1200 x 1500 high

The layout is set in the Alpine region of Germany with a fascinating combination of tunnels and bridges against a realistic scenic treatment. The layout is operated with a combination of high-speed passenger trains, slow moving freight trains and local passenger trains by DCC.

Layout travels in one (hired) medium size van in one piece, on wheels. Please no tight turns or stairs on access route from off loading area to exhibition position.

LYNNBOTTOM

SCALE: 1:450 ‘T’

SIZE: 425 x 900

A layout to demonstrate the qualities of this newest of very small-scale model systems from Japan, it uses as a baseboard a toilet seat and lid. It has full scenic treatment using model buildings, boats, people and animals available to the same scale as the rolling stock. Needs “frontage space” to allow visitors to appreciate the detail.

Layout travels in one car. Requires table as support when exhibited.

EAST HANTS LIGHT RAILWAY

SCALE: 1:76 Narrow Gauge ’00-9’ DCC

SIZE: 1070 x 1070

Freelance narrow gauge layout in the round, which imagines a narrow gauge network part military, serving establishments and localities from Alton to Farnborough and South to Port Solent. Part of the Southern Railway post grouping, they invested in modernising the line and rolling stock to reduce costs, but improve services.

Look out for the Eastleigh designed and built diesel railcar running at the zenith of the SR in 1937.

MUHLLAND SUMPHF

SCALE: 1:45  Continental ‘0’

SIZE: 3200 x 900

Small  German 0 layout representing a fictional location in Northern Germany in the British Zone, in the period just following the partitioning of Germany, when as a result, many lines between East and West German were “cut” at the border.

This is a sleepy station, originally on a through route east from Hamburg, now finding itself an important terminus for supplies to a nearby British Army and RAF base. No changes have been made to the station layout, leading to some “interesting operational problems”. Meanwhile the East German Army observes from its watchtower….
