Gauge 00 Layout - West Bay, by Graham Ashley

Layout background

The layout, by Liphook and District MRC member Graham Ashley, is a representation of a contemporary terminus on the South West Trains network, that is also served by other train operating companies.

A small freight yard, some light engine movements and the occasional locomotive hauled replacement for a failed DMU service gives added interest.

The layout demonstrates how the careful use of commercial parts and rolling stock can create a convincing representation of Britain’s railways at the beginning of the 21st century.
